What types of vacuum flanges can OSM manufacture?
OSM manufactures KF/NW, ISO-K, ISO-F and CF-style vacuum flanges, as well as custom flanges for vacuum chambers, pumps, valves and piping systems. Products can be machined according to standard dimensions or specific customer requirements.
Which materials are available for vacuum flanges?
Common materials include stainless steel 304, 304L, 316 and 316L, as well as aluminum alloys such as 6061. Other materials are available depending on the required vacuum level, corrosion resistance, operating temperature and application.
Can OSM manufacture custom flanges from drawings or samples?
Yes. OSM can manufacture custom vacuum flanges from 2D drawings, 3D models or physical samples. Our engineering team can review sealing surfaces, dimensions, tolerances and manufacturability before production.
What tolerances and surface finishes can OSM achieve?
OSM can achieve machining tolerances down to ±0.01 mm for critical features, depending on the flange design, size and material. Sealing surfaces can be precision-machined, polished or finished to the surface roughness specified in the customer’s drawing.
Do you support prototypes and low-volume flange production?
Yes. OSM supports one-off prototypes, replacement flanges and low-volume production. We can also provide dimensional inspection reports and scale up to repeat production after the prototype has been approved.
